Colombian woman accomplice of extortion in the case Ostreicher

A Colombian woman has been detained in the prison of San Roque town of Sucre, for alleged complicity in the case Ostreicher, which were also involved government officials accused of being part of a network of corruption and extortion, as reported prison authorities.

Spokesmen from jail identified the arrested as Claudia Liliana Rodriguez, alleged owner of the assets of U.S. citizen Jacob Ostreicher, which were seized for alleged links to drug trafficking activities.


Those responsible for the San Roque Criminal local media reported that Rodriguez entered custody on 19 November and it faces at least five criminal proceedings instituted by the American citizen.

The case Ostreicher also reached a Supreme Court official, surnamed "Orellana" as quoted local media, who allegedly was part of the network of extortion disrupted in recent days by the Ministry of Government.
