Bolivian soy is exported to Brazil after confirmation of the sale of
300,000 tons of grain to the neighboring country, the Brazilian
Ambassador in Bolivia, Marcel Biato, who along with the presidents of
Anapo, Demetrio Perez of the Eastern Agricultural Chamber ( CAO), Julio
Roda and CEO of Agricultural and Food Sovereignty, Ronald Quispe,
provided the information.
President Anapo, Demetrio PĂ©rez, said that was not exported Bolivian soy since 1986, adding that they will ask the government to increase the licensed capacity of 300,000 tons, as producers have different thrusts 120,000 tons in silos and winter harvest comes.

He recalled that the Brazilian Embassy in Bolivia reported that the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) issued a statement approving legislation phytosanitary requirements for the importation of soybeans in Bolivia.
