Jacob Ostreicher gets out of prison Palmasola after 18 months

After 30 hearings, Bolivian Justice determined to Ostreicher, home detention and bail of Bs 100,000 before he can retreat to his home in the city of Santa Cruz, while ventilating the case that subordinates.

After several previous reports, Ostreicher managed to be heard by the authorities, to whom he said them that he had been extorted.


After the complaint, in late November, the Government Minister Carlos Romero, revealed an extortion network composed of officials from the Ministry of the Presidency, the Office for Registration, Supervision and Administration of Seized, among others.

According to research, extortion network consists of government officials, prosecutors, judges and lawyers operating in several cases outside Ostreicher.

The american businessman Jacob Ostreicher thanked President Evo Morales for requesting an immediate investigation into the network of lawyers and extortionists who imprisoned him without trial or sentence in Palmasola.
